About the speakers

James Hart - Ecommerce Director – ASOS

James started his career in 1996 at Entertainment Marketing and was invited to join ASOS as its first employee in 1999. Over the last 10 years James has held various positions focused on customer experience. He was appointed to the Operating Board as eCommerce Director in April 2008, with responsibility for Conversion, User Experience & Innovation.

James will be presenting his thoughts on the ecommerce challenges that lie ahead for retailers.

Peter Fitzgerald – Industry Leader, Retail at Google

Peter is the Industry Leader for Google UK & EIRE Retail Vertical and has the responsibility to develop and execute the strategy for delivering growth in Google UK’s Retail advertising sales revenues. Previously Peter worked with Amazon.com for over 8 years as Director of Business Development where he was responsible for UK sales and account management of multi-channel retail accounts such as Marks & Spencer and Mothercare.

Peter will discuss the future of demand generation and the mobilisation of ecommerce

Matthew Tod – CEO – Logan Tod

Matthew launched Logan Tod & Co in 1997. As Europe’s leading online performance optimisation consultancy, the company now employs over twenty staff and works with clients such as ASOS, Debenhams, Focus DIY, M&M Direct, Carphone Warehouse, RBS, HSBC, and Sky. Before launching Logan Tod & Co, Matthew was Chief Executive at full service marketing agency Publicis NetWorks, London.

Matthew will discuss optimisation; the business discipline of the decade.

How to get to the Soho Hotel

From Tottenham Court Road Tube Station
When exiting the station take the exit marked for Soho Square (exit 1) at street level you will exit the station opposite a MacDonald's restaurant. Turn left and walk to the corner of Dean Street, you will find an Orange Mobile store on the corner. Turn down(left) into Dean Street. You will pass a Tesco grocery store and a Pizza Express restaurant. Cross the road still walking straight. After the Nat West bank on the opposite side of the road you will see Richmond Buildings and Richmond Mews (the entrance to this is opposite the Soho Theatre) We are located in the Mews at the end. Once you turn into Richmond Buildings you will see the hotel directly in front of you.

From Oxford Circus Tube Station
When exiting the station take the exit immediately to your left at street level you will exit the station opposite a clothing store called Top Shop. Turn right onto Oxford Street. You will pass many stores such as Next, Marks and Spencer and Boots. You would walk for quite some distance until you reach the corner of Dean Street, turn right into Dean Street. You will pass a Tesco grocery store and a Pizza Express restaurant. Cross the road still walking straight. After the Nat West bank on the opposite side of the road you will see Richmond Buildings and Richmond Mews (the entrance to this is opposite the Soho Theatre) We are located in the Mews at the end. From Picadilly Circus Tube Station
When exiting the station take the exit marked for Shaftsbury Avenue, the large bill boards should be on your left and the Trocodero Centre on your right. Travel up Shaftsbury Avenue passing the Lyric, Apollo and Queen's theatres. You would then turn left into Dean Street. Travel up Dean Street and turn left into Richmond Buildings and Richmond Mews (the entrance to this is opposite the Soho Theatre) We are located in the Mews at the end. Once you turn into Richmond Buildings you will see the hotel directly in front of you.
