PwC announced today that Logan Tod & Co, Europe’s leading digital analytics and performance optimisation consultancy, will be joining the company’s consulting division to enhance its strategy and consumer offering.
Logan Tod & Co provides diagnostics of clients’ ecommerce operations, through detailed investigation of online ‘Big Data,’ to thoroughly understand their customers’ multichannel behaviour. The company was founded 10 years ago by Matthew Tod, a highly respected industry luminary who is widely acknowledged as a leading thinker and practitioner in this space.

Once again record amounts were spent online over Christmas 2011. However, 26% of online shoppers are still planning to spend even more online in December 2012! This represents the greatest measurement of intent to shop over the internet since we launched our annual Online Future Shopping Index six years ago. The research was conducted online between 29/12/11 – 31/12/11 with 1,121 UK adults.The Logan Tod & Co. Online Future Shopping Index is an annual study looking into the shopping habits of the population over the Christmas period. This is the sixth annual index from this series produced by Logan Tod & Co.
This Christmas Logan Tod & Co has chosen to support two charities, St. Mungo’s, which runs accommodation and support projects for the homeless across London and the South and Whizz Kidz, which aims to ensure all disabled children’s lives are full of fun, friendship and hope for an independent future to support this Christmas.

After a very busy couple of months for Logan Tod, our 2011 events schedule came to a close last week with ECMOD 2011 at the Business Design Centre, Islington. As well as exhibiting at the event, Matthew Tod was also asked to present ‘Using Online Performance Data to Better Target Catalogues’ along with Nick Rawlings, Marketing Director at Lands’ End. The pair discussed how web analytics data can be merged with customer data and used Lands’ End as a successful case study.
Matthew then joined a panel discussion at next-door event, eMetrics, alongside eMetrics founder Jim Sterne, Dave Chaffey (Smart Insights) and Steve Jackson (Kwantic).
